MP5

MP5 is an artist known for the incisive black and white used in different media. The studies in animation and in set design for theater led to develop the artistic research on different levels: from audio/video installations to mural interventions up to projects related to the research theater.

The visuals refer to classical art giving form to an imagery that underlies a critical and politically engaged vision of reality. Strongly active in the European underground art and counterculture scene,

in the last ten years MP5 became one of the most prominent visual artists of the trans queer feminist movement. The pseudonym reflects the will to overcome belonging to a predefined genre.
