Matteo Negri \u00e8 nato a San Donato Milanese (Milano) nel 1982, si \u00e8 diplomato in scultura presso l\u2019Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e vive e lavora a Milano. A partire dal 2003 ha lavorato con numerose gallerie d\u2019arte in Italia e all\u2019estero tra cui Parigi, Londra e Berlino, realizzando installazioni presso spazi pubblici, privati e fiere d\u2019arte.<\/p>\n

La sua poetica si esprime attraverso un uso sapiente ed eclettico di diversi materiali, quali plastica, pietra, ceramica o resina, utilizzando colori pop come strumento espressivo per eccellenza. Nel ciclo di opere che hanno come protagonista il Lego, il noto mattone colorato assume il ruolo di archetipo della creativit\u00e0 per la possibilit\u00e0 di costruire e creare insita nell\u2019oggetto il quale, cessando di essere una forma, \u00e8 utilizzato come metafora della soggettivit\u00e0 (l\u2019Ego) e diventa un oggetto artistico.<\/p>\n

La scissione tra forma e contenuto ricorda alcuni meccanismi della retorica pop che, tramite la riproduzione ingigantita degli oggetti, spostava l\u2019attenzione dello spettatore dall\u2019originale destinazione d\u2019uso alla seduzione meramente estetica del simulacro. Il L\u2019Ego di Matteo Negri nasce come occasione di \u201cgioco\u201d interiore e individuale, il mattoncino da modulo diventa linguaggio e si coniuga in molteplici forme che sono espressione dell\u2019artista e trasmettono allo spettatore la sua personale visione delle cose.<\/p>\n

After\u00a0her studies at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, she moves to Rome in 1946. Together with her future husband, Antonio Sanfilippo, they found Forma 1 in 1947, with also Turcato, Attardi, Perilli, Dorazio and Guerrini. The Group considers the geometric lines\u00a0as pure form toward abstraction and formalism, rejecting any link of continuity with the Italian painting of the last twenty years. After\u00a0the group Forma 1 breaks-up in 1951, Accardi continues her abstract, but concrete, research until 1952 and from 1954 she starts painting in black and white \u2013 the Negativi<\/i>. In\u00a01961, she reintroduces colours in her compositions, obtaining also optical effects. Accardi joins the Continuit\u00e0 Group, and prepares solo exhibitions\u00a0in\u00a0New York and\u00a0London. In\u00a0the 1970s,\u00a0she works with glazes on terracotta tiles and paints repeated geometric patterns on sicofoil,\u00a0transparent plastic instead of canvas. Using large sheets, she completes a series of works that investigate the relationship with the environment: Tenda<\/i> and Tripla tenda <\/i>for Galleria Editalia of Rome and for Venice Biennale 1976, Ambiente\/Arte Section. She participates at Venice Biennale in 1948, 1964, 1976, 1978, 1993 and in 1988 she is given a personal room. In the 1980s, Accardi returns to two-dimensional with the sequences of the Parentesi<\/i> and Capricci<\/i>. She exhibits in solo and group exhibitions abroad.\u00a0In 1996, Accardi is\u00a0named Accademico di Brera in Milan and in 1997 she receives the Cavaliere di Gran Croce.<\/p>\r\n\u00a0\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\u00a0\r\n
