Direttamente dal MOCA di Shanghai, dopo i successi ottenuti a Kuala Lumpur, Olivero Rainaldi torna ad esporre alla Partners & Mucciaccia Gallery. In mostra le opere presenti nei due eventi di punta del 2015 a lui dedicati, entrambi sponsorizzati da Maserati per celebrare i loro 100 anni dalla nascita, che ha voluto sugellare la stima verso il Maestro commissionandogli \u201cNeptune in the Wind\u201d, un grande marmo retroilluminato che, nel tridente inforcato dalla divinit\u00e0, richiama il logo della casa automobilistica.<\/p>\n

Prorogata di un mese per il successo di pubblico e critica, \u201cECHOS\u201d al Museum of Contemporary Art di Shangai \u00e8 stata segnalata dalle pi\u00f9 importanti testate cinesi come uno degli eventi pi\u00f9 interessanti dell\u2019anno, insieme alle mostra di David Hockney Mark Bradford e Markus Lupers , mentre per \u201cTWINS\u201d alla Galleria Petronas di Kuala Lumpur ha ricevuto dal Branding Assiciation of Malaysia il premio Personality of the year.<\/p>\n

Artista appartato e tenacemente dedicato al suo lavoro, Rainaldi torna alla Partners & Mucciaccia Gallery con nuova mostra, incentrata sulla sua personalissima ricerca che sin dagli anni Ottanta guarda alla figura umana e al rapporto tra l\u2019essere umano e il mondo spirituale.<\/p>\n

Una ricerca perseguita da Rainaldi con coerenza, attraverso il disegno, la pittura e la scultura. Lo dimostrano le opere esposte, tra le quali \u00e8 notevole l\u2019enigmatica \u201cGisant\u201d (1993), una solitaria figura d\u2019uomo, che sembra quasi galleggiare nell\u2019atmosfera che ne mette in luce le perfettissime forme, \u201cl\u2019Argonauta\u201d (2011) e le \u201cConversazioni\u201d, un ciclo iniziato in omaggio a Papa Giovanni Paolo II, nella quale il Pontefice \u00e8 rappresentato con un ampio mantello aperto a simboleggiare il concetto della protezione e dell\u2019accoglienza, sculture di quest\u2019artista meditativo che condividono con le forme antiche di un\u00a0Kouroi\u00a0<\/em>o di un rilievo etrusco le proprie linee ieratiche e pure.<\/p>\n

Directly from Shanghai\u2019s MOCA, following the Kuala Lumpur success, Oliviero Rainaldi comes again in Singapore at Partners & Mucciaccia Gallery with an exhibition that presents works from the past two events dedicated to him in 2015, both sponsored by Maserati to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the company, which commissioned a large retro illuminated marble work entitled \u201cNeptune in the Wind\u201d, where the trident hold by the God represent their logo.<\/p>\r\n

The great success of public and critics of \u201cECHOS\u201d convinced the museum\u2019s director, Samuel Kung, to extend the exhibition for one more month. Some of the most important Chinese newspapers recommended \u201cECHOS\u201d among the most interesting events of the year together with David Hockney, Mark Bradford and Markus Lupers exhibitions. On the occasion of the exhibition \u201cTWINS\u201d at Petronas Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Rainaldi received the prize \u201cPersonality of the Year\u201d by the Branding Association of Malaysia.<\/p>\r\n

The exhibition at Partners & Mucciaccia Gallery is a tribute to the sculptor and his very personal research, which since the 1980s has been focusing on the human figure, its metaphysical nature, and the relationship between the human being and the spiritual world.<\/p>\r\n

Rainaldi consistently pursued the research using different media (drawing, painting and sculpture) as evidenced by the works on display. Among them, there are two particularly remarkable: the enigmatic \u201cGisant\u201d (1993), inspired by Manet\u2019s \u201cBullfighter\u201d, a solitary male figure, which seems like floating in the atmosphere that highlights his most perfect forms; or \u201cThe Argonaut\u201d (2011).
