Gonzalo Borondo was born in Spain in 1989. Driven by the will of face himself with a collective dimension, exploring the complex relationship between Art and \u201cPublic\u201d, he started painting in the public space in 2007. His works stem from the dialogue with the context that he is facing, from the encounter with memories of places and people: context creates the work, which changes (with) the space. Experimentation is the basis of Borondo\u2019s artistic research, focused on extending the resources of painting to disciplines, supports (glass, straw, ceramic, wall surfaces, wood\u2026) and multiples aesthetic practices. The heart of his poetry is searching for what is sacred and the subtle nature of human psyche.<\/p>\n

Borondo realized paintings and installations of public art all over the world, getting the award Arte Laguna within the section \u201cLand Art and Urban Art\u201d in 2018 thanks to the work \u201cCenere\u201d (Selci IT, 2017). He started displaying personal shows in Rome, Madrid, Paris, London and Marseilles, expositive projects of experience-based installations in 2012. His studies are now focused on the intention of livening up painting through innovative analogical processes, where the interaction of sound, light and video, synthesized on the glass, is a scene of dynamic paintings that are between visible and invisible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After\u00a0her studies at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence, she moves to Rome in 1946. Together with her future husband, Antonio Sanfilippo, they found Forma 1 in 1947, with also Turcato, Attardi, Perilli, Dorazio and Guerrini. The Group considers the geometric lines\u00a0as pure form toward abstraction and formalism, rejecting any link of continuity with the Italian painting of the last twenty years. After\u00a0the group Forma 1 breaks-up in 1951, Accardi continues her abstract, but concrete, research until 1952 and from 1954 she starts painting in black and white \u2013 the Negativi<\/i>. In\u00a01961, she reintroduces colours in her compositions, obtaining also optical effects. Accardi joins the Continuit\u00e0 Group, and prepares solo exhibitions\u00a0in\u00a0New York and\u00a0London. In\u00a0the 1970s,\u00a0she works with glazes on terracotta tiles and paints repeated geometric patterns on sicofoil,\u00a0transparent plastic instead of canvas. Using large sheets, she completes a series of works that investigate the relationship with the environment: Tenda<\/i> and Tripla tenda <\/i>for Galleria Editalia of Rome and for Venice Biennale 1976, Ambiente\/Arte Section. She participates at Venice Biennale in 1948, 1964, 1976, 1978, 1993 and in 1988 she is given a personal room. In the 1980s, Accardi returns to two-dimensional with the sequences of the Parentesi<\/i> and Capricci<\/i>. She exhibits in solo and group exhibitions abroad.\u00a0In 1996, Accardi is\u00a0named Accademico di Brera in Milan and in 1997 she receives the Cavaliere di Gran Croce.<\/p>\r\n\u00a0\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\u00a0\r\n
