Her colourful and incredibly detailed pantings are a testament to her passion for city- and landscape subjects, especially the Umbrian countryside where she lives. Roberto Bernardi, photorealist painter, strongly influenced by the American pop culture, depicts the beauty of everyday life. The main subject of his still-life paintings are plates and glasses, kitchens appliances, and more recently lollypops and candies. American artist, James Busby, creates paintings that are object-like in its depth and presence. His carefully crafted, labor-intensive paintings are almost minimalist compositions. Busby adds multiple layers of gesso over birch plywood panels while sanding and polishing each layer. The process of erasing marks adds to the history of the paintings. Piero Pizzi Cannella, founder of the San Lorenzo School in Rome, blends abstract and figurative. The main theme in Pizzi Cannella\u2019s extremely personal creative journey, is an enigmatic language of recurring symbols that trace an almost esoteric meaning. Frank Holliday who is part of Neo Abstract and Neo Expressionist Movement, and is associated with the East Village art scene and the Club 57. Cristiano Pintaldi who paints with only the three colours, red, green and blue on a black background, placed together in the same way in which the pixels are arranged on the television screen. The subject-matters chosen are drawn from popular culture, TV programs, cartoons, Kubrick movies. Llewellyn Xavier\u2019s work reflects his love for the environment. It is characterised by multicoloured drops of paint applied to the canvas using a series of special tools.
