On display are 12 iconic large-scale works created by the artist Colbert that refer to famous works of art worn by lobster-sculptures. Sculptures, such as Duchamp’s Urinal, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers or Damien Hirst’s Shark, in a dialogue, at times even annoyingly jarring, with ancient and modern art history and the urban context. Among them, the largest sculpture is on display for the first time, the six-metre-high King Lobster, which greets its followers with a royal crown and raised claws.
