ARTIST’S WORKS BETWEEN XX AND XXI CENTURY

ROME | GALLERIA MUCCIACCIA

Gran Ballo d'Oriente - Galleria Mucciaccia

Gran Ballo d’Oriente, olio su tela, 50×50

Gallery Mucciaccia offers a journey in the art from the war to the present day. Excluding subdivisions for languages, genres and themes, priority is given to the harmony of differences, in an exhibition where artists of different times and countries live together, sharing the fact that they come from masters who have invented a code that has become over the years a style.
The route of exposure proceeds from the surface of the colored silk large map of Alighiero Boetti to the canvas and the free expression of George Mathieu, which acts as a perfect counterpoint to the white surface and a rigorous “Achrome” of Piero Manzoni. It continues with the torn posters of the French artist Jaques Villeglé, the refined “caseina” by Carla Accardi, the enigmatic paintings by Alberto Savinio and Giorgio de Chirico, the oil paintings of Piero Pizzi Cannella and the pixels painted by Cristiano Pintaldi.
