Each artwork captures the essence of urban life, pulsating with vibrant rhythms and dynamic movements, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the captivating symphony of the artist’s artistic vision.Born in 1967 to a Puerto Rican family living in the Baruch Housing Projects on New York City’s Lower East Side, LA II discovered his passion for artistic expression at an early age. At only 10 years old, he began leaving his colourful footprints on the walls of the neighbourhood, marking the beginning of an extraordinary artistic journey. Adopting the nickname ‘LA II’, symbolising ‘Little Angel’, Angel Ortiz’s path is intertwined with that of the famous artist Keith Haring.
